Kindergarten

Our Outdoor Kindergarten program is based on a simple yet essential approach. Meeting the child’s core needs of rhythm, freedom to move, good nutrition, imitation, sleep, the proper clothing and time to do things on their own terms. Supporting children's natural development and establishing a strong foundation, something to build on for the rest of their life.

Parent and Child

The Parent and Child program provides an opportunity for young children to experience a nurturing, protective learning environment full of warm, flowing colours and natural objects and toys that invite imagination and interaction through play.  Parents/caregivers attend with their children, providing a wonderful transition between home and Kindergarten.

Now fully outdoors, the program begins at the school entrance and winds its way through the nearby park.

Events

Get Involved

The Westdale Children's School puts on four different fundraising events each year with the help of our supportive parents, alumni and community members. We hope that you will come out and support our Waldorf inspired kindergarten. See you then!
